UI/UX Designer

As a key team player you’ll produce user interface design, collaborate to optimize ease of use and achieve an integrated and consistent look and feel for our loved by all brand. You will work closely work with sales to identify and specify complex business requirements and processes and determine feature product gaps that are easily solved with application development. You’ll also be encouraged to conduct ongoing research of user interface development best practices to make sure we continue to be the EdTech Industry leader we are.

Responsibilities
  • Design beautiful, intuitive interfaces for both Web and Mobile, working closely with the build team.
  • Build rapid prototypes for user testing.
  • Collaborate on user research and interaction design.
  • Communicate and present design strategy/rationale effectively to key stakeholders.
  • Push creativity, challenge established thinking, and discover new ways of solving a problem.
  • Maintain a cohesive experience across a growing range of products and features.
  • Constantly work on optimizing the funnel, based on our KPI's and eliminating obstacles to get users to the magical moment more quickly.
Requirements
  • An outstanding creative portfolio demonstrating strong sense of UI/UX that runs across both Web and mobile.
  • Expert-level proficiency with design tools in the Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Highly organized with excellent visual design skills; attention to detail and a demonstrated mastery of typography, color and page layout.
  • In-depth familiarity with the latest capabilities in HTML, CSS and JavaScript; understanding how comps translate to code.
  • Experience in developing online academic experiences is a plus.
  • Interaction design skills using tools such as After Effects, Premiere PRO or Final Cut is a plus.
